Oops, I forgot how long it had been. Exams are to blame for my tardiness. Sorry!

I’m sure you’re psyched after relentlessly joining all the blockchain groups and forums and stalking other people’s profiles, learning the basics of blockchain, Ethereum, and fancy web3 terms, and realizing why there is so much razzle-dazzle surrounding it.

# WEEK2 & 3

  1. CHOOSING SMART CONTRACT LANGUAGE: After passing this phase, it was time for me to choose what language I should code smart contracts in. Literally everyone on this planet earth told me to start with “Solidity”. Quickly, without a second thought, I googled for Solidity documentation. I found a few awesome resources to start with Solidity

This is literally the best website to learn solidity, concept by concept. An interactive way to learn solidity.

I am personally following solidity by example.

2. BEGAN WITH A SMALL PROJECT: I applied concepts as soon as I learned them, which aids in my memory and helps to ingrain them deeply in my mind. I thus adhere to this practice. I started working on a project that was a basic Blockchain implementation of a bank. I had to draft borrowing and lending contracts for this project. Anubhav (my colleague) and I carried it out. I learned how React works with smart contracts while developing this project. I was introduced to libraries like web3js and etherjs.

An Udemy course helped me learn these concepts.

3. SEARCH FOR HACKATHONS, WEBINARS, EVENTS: I’m constantly looking for hackathons that are held in Bengaluru. On LinkedIn, I look for people who work in web3 development. I ask them to guide me. It helps alot!!

Follow them for offline events. Also

PS: I’ll soon be at a web3 event!

Thanks. Bye!

Hope this was helpful. Feedback is appreciated.
